Okay, title needs a little editing, and not exactly breaking news, but Ron Silver's speech was very good.
Especially because he used to be a flaming liberal.

"Ron Silver's speech was very good."
Yes, it was, and he got the crowd a little charged, hubby was complaining they were too low energy.
Always an advantage to being a professional, esp. at this public speaking thing which is so dreaded by so many.
We are watching C-Span, the only way to go. I also liked the "Live from NY" saturday night live spoof bit, I thought that was well done.

I was listening to this on Pacifica Radio...which is way to the left of NPR. They had a coniption...I thought the speakers would have a meltdown....how dare he suggest America wasn't at fault for 9/11.
One lady said 20 million of her ancestors were on the bottom of the Atlantic ocean (slaves) and if African Americans held the government at fault, they could never move forward.
And some other clown said that 33,000 kids died on 9/11 around the world because of starvation. What that has to do with terrorism, I don't know, but I was doubled over in laughter hearing these socialists....
