re: "it was a mistake to hold the convention in this City of Ingrates"

If I heard my mother say it once she said it a million times, "No good deed goes unpunished!" Amen, and this behavior on the part of NYC just proves her point. I think if you consider it a step further though that it's really good they chose NYC. Tampa tried to get the convention, but I wouldn't want that bunch of worthless left wing flotsam in my town. Let 'em stay up there where a lot of them are from.

WI naively believed that when the rest of the country rushed to New York's aid, despite the contempt that many New Yorkers feel for
:flyover country," that something might change, that even if Bush
couldn't carry the city, at least
he would do well enough to carry New York State and win in the landslide he deserves.

But I saw a poll putting Kerry up more than 20 points!

In the end, liberalism trumps everything, even simple gratitude.

This is going to sound absolutely hateful, but I have spent the day watching clips of this outrageous behavior in NYC and have reached my limit of righteous indignation. That said here comes the hateful part--Heaven forbid should there be another terrorist attack on NYC because I for one w/n feel upset for these 'boobs' who have forgotten, in less than 3 years, 9-11 and how the whole country cried for them during their misery.

I recognize many of these people are from outside of NYC but there were locals who supported these 'boobs' big time. Professional agitators and rent a mobs have disgraced the memories of 3000 victims of 9-11 with their raucous display today.
