Protest in New York

Posted on 08/29/2004 3:34:52 PM PDT by Two-Bits

If you are angry with the way they display those flag draped coffins.
If you are angry with the educational system for their failure in educating these young people of today.
If you are angry over the stupidity of their slogans especially sexual body parts. "Lesbians against Bush" Now I ask you, how dumb is that.
If you are angry over the same worn out slogans from the sixties. "Been there done that" It was not impressive then and is still isn't now
If you are angry as to how our brave men and women in the military were treated during Viet Nam and seeing them trying to pull the same crap again with our brave military men and women now.

If you are scratching your head over these "useful idiots", so called by Lenin in his 10 easy steps to overtake a Country, who would prefer to

Don't get mad, just give a donation to George W Bush Re-Election. Especially today. What better way to say, "great job to the Protestors", than to give to the Re-election of George W Bush.

God forbid, if these idiots ever succeeded in the US becoming a totalitarian regime than they will be the first to be rid of due to their services no longer being required, needed or tolerated. Couldn't you see Sadam, Stalin, Lenin putting up with the likes of today? It would be so sad if not so ironic.Yesiree...Higher Education at its best...

re: "it was a mistake to hold the convention in this City of Ingrates"

If I heard my mother say it once she said it a million times, "No good deed goes unpunished!" Amen, and this behavior on the part of NYC just proves her point. I think if you consider it a step further though that it's really good they chose NYC. Tampa tried to get the convention, but I wouldn't want that bunch of worthless left wing flotsam in my town. Let 'em stay up there where a lot of them are from.

re: "Do they ever stop and think about anyone besides themselves??"

Bingo! You've hit the nail on the head. The hallmark of a liberal is that when it's all said and done whatever they do is done to make them feel good about themselves. Their approach to life is to give a street person a few bucks to cleanse their guilt and them move on. They base their entire view of life on intentions, not results. Regardless of how disastrous the outcome, if it was done with good intentions then they feel they've done their part.

re: "When Clinton Lied Nobody Died."

Tell that to Ron Brown and Vince Foster, just to name two.

Great responses both! Now, maybe we should make a list of thing to stock up on for the following week...

1.Frozen dinners or the number on the fridge to your favorite delivery restaurant.

2.Adult beverages ranging from beer to martini's needed for the "Truth Squad" rebuttals.

3.Do not disturb signs for the computer room.

4.Coffee & aspirin for the mornings after.

Any other suggestions? Hummmmmm?

The Republican convention in New York City is brilliant. The city represents the democrat’s ideology, so there is no better place to show the American voters the true nature of the beast.

The more damage they do, the more attention they get. It can not be good for them politically to have people yelling hate slogans about our military and President. This might be the turning point in the election, more so then the swift boat vets. Hopefully the bastards enjoy their day in the sun because working class independents and even some democrats are not going to like it.

At the RNC convention, the sane and the stable will be inside giving speeches and voting. On the outside, Kerry supporters will be rioting. Which group should lead America?

WI naively believed that when the rest of the country rushed to New York's aid, despite the contempt that many New Yorkers feel for
:flyover country," that something might change, that even if Bush
couldn't carry the city, at least
he would do well enough to carry New York State and win in the landslide he deserves.

But I saw a poll putting Kerry up more than 20 points!

In the end, liberalism trumps everything, even simple gratitude.

Watching these unwashed lemmings attempting to desecrate the legacy of men and women who chose to proudly serve in the armed forces and in doing so made the ultimate sacrifice sickens me to the core. If I had witnessed such a display in person you would have seen that man leaving in an ambulance.

Clinton lied about the "mass graves" in order to justify his bombing campaign in Kosovo. He also lied when he said the troops would be home by Christmas. Thousands of civilians died in many "mistaken" bombing attacks on bridges, passenger trains and buses. Clinton is a war criminal.

No brainer. The amount of garbage on the streets of NY (I mean after the protesters left, lol) not to mention the inconvenience should be enough to p*ss off any tax paying NY'er. I do somewhat worry about the safety of our delegates especially after indymedia posted their personal information. I do imagine in a post 9/11 world NY probably has the best resources to deal with such events & may be part of the reason the RNC chose it for it's convention site.

I could not have said it better.

Think about it. It has only been recent that the American people in our lifetime now have choice when it comes to media, education, thoughts, critical thinking, news and truth vs propaganda. This is a great time to be alive and to be an American. Thank you Protesters in New York for showing the American people DNC true platform. Thank you Swifties for bringing the truth forward regarding Viet Nam. Those who names are on the wall, thank you. Thank you Majority for not allowing the paltry few to dominate over all of us anymore. God Bless America and all of those who love and respect her.

They don't work. They don't pay taxes. They live only to complain and make asses out of themselves, protesting all that is right, and standing for cowardice and immorality. Leeches on the government tit, suckling hungrily, but giving back nothing.
