Poor John Kerry.For the record...Ever since the Swift Boat Veterans started talking about the "Girlie-Manchurian" Candidate's REAL record in Vietnam, it appears that the Botox Boy cannot even sneak into a formerly "safe" hard left enclave like Santa Monica without having to face crowds of protesters who insist on sharing their opinion that he is "Unfit for Command."
On Thursday, August 26, when Senator Kerry's entourage arrived at the swanky Fairmont Miramar Hotel in this rent-controlled beach community just outside Los Angeles for a "secret" $5,000/plate fundraiser with Tony Bennett and his "Limousine Liberal" buddies from "La La Land," they were greeted by members of the Hollywood Resistance Force (a.k.a. the L.A. Chapter of the Free Republic Network) - and a few of our FRiends.

Once again, a brave band of Freepers assembled in Santa Monica outside the Fairmont Miramar at the corner of Ocean and Wilshire to freep John Kerry's $5,000 a plate fundraiser. Deep in the Land of the Limousine Liberal, we attacked the beast with our coolest and most colorful signs and costumes yet!

Kerry visited us (Washington) yesterday. I watched the 11 o'clock news last night and they just showed a couple of meek and mild Bush supporters that showed up to protest Kerry's visit to Tacoma, and they made a point to contrast that to the tens of thousands who showed up to greet Kerry. The pictures are hilarious and I thank you for the reality check.
I, Jeann Le Jacquestrap Kerri, would never lie about my heroic efforts in Nam. Just look at my medals, that I didn't throw over the fence.
