Dornan used to be a great guy with a few eccentricities. When I went to DC for a semester in 1987 I interviewed with his office for an internship. Over the years the eccentricities seemed to grow until they swallowed the man and there was nothing else left.
They were flying the Viet Commie flags while burning Old Glory. Traitors every one!
Dornan is a full-fledged nut and an embarrassment to the Republican party or any other party he might claim alliance
with.
Though, I certainly respect Dornan and agree totally with his points, I do think he came across a little "Howard Deanish" tonight.
And this during war time while our men were still fighting and dying in Vietnam. John Kerry was the spokesman for the leftist group. He's a turncoat traitor!
Also, Dornan said Kerry's group pulled ten flags down from the building they were at, I assume these were probably US State flags. Kerry's group urinated on those flags and burned an American flag. Dornan says he followed and filmed Kerry for 8 hours that day. Dornan recovered several Communist flags and the burned American flag left behind by Kerry's gang.

Wasn't it the Clinton Impeachment that woke Pat up? As I recall, he tended to be a bit critical of the Toon's behavior and the lies that he told about it all.
i can understand why Dornan was so upset, he is a true American, and seeing what Kerry was doing totally pissed him off!
Let me tell you something. This (Swiftboat vets) campaign, is not about "us" or "Bush", or a political 'campaign strategy'. This is much, much more than that. This is PERSONAL with these guys.
This is not about "electing Bush". This is about "defeating Kerry"! To them, this is about 'their war'. About 'life and death' issues. THEY WILL NOT REST ON THIS. Trust me. This has now taken a life of it's own, and there's not a thing Republicans or Bush can do anything about it, even if they wanted to.
Amen! Dornan said what needed to be said and in a way that no one could mistake. Dornan showed a well earned anger for Kerry and the damage he's done for far too many years.
Dornan has more than earned the right to express his opinion any way he pleases, as far as I'm concerned.
Hey, I completely agree - these vets finally deserve to be heard.
I think that comparison is a bit harsh. Dornan was speaking from actual experience and observation of Kerry. Dean hasn't said anything that isn't a flat-out lie.
in addition, he needs toothpicks or something to keep his eyes open... i swear he was talking with his eyes closed...
The only reason this story has any legs at all is because right wing nuts like us have been pressing the issue. If we back off, so will the press.
If anyone has an authentic picture of Kerry burning a US Flag that will be the end of his run for president. I'd be willing to bet there is one.
To put it simply, Pat Cadell when nuts during the Clinton scandals. He was scandalized by Clinton and his party, and to Cadell's eternal credit, he condemned it.
I was a fan of Dornan until I watched some of the midnight
special orders he used to convene two or three times a week.
He would make some comments that were way out of left field.
He also will exaggerate his debate points to the max.
