I missed it.

I SO wish we had Ari Fleischer still as Press Secretary.

The new guy just hasn't got the same zing and doesn't intimidate the jackels like Ari used to.....

I did not see the show but if they stop all political ads 60 days before the election doesn't GWB realize that the conservative view point will be squashed by the MSM and all that American's will have to go on is their viewpoint!

Bush has called for a ban on all ads by the so-called 527 advocacy groups.

Kerry has not heeded Bush's call to stand with him on the issue.

Bush has been savaged for a year by 527s favoring Kerry.

How did these statements get in a MSM report? UPI is not following the DNC talking points.

Ramsey Clark to Join Panel for Saddam’s Defense

arabnews press release 25 August 2004

NOTE :
Ramsey Clark is pictured below with Kerry and
Vietnam phony vet Al Hubbard
Who was head of the
Vietnam Veterans Against the War movement.

NEW:
FReeper smith288 has an online version of
Kerry's "The New Soldier"
You can read it without downloading pdf files!

From Kerry's "The New Soldier":
Al Hubbard Sgt., 22 Troop Carrier Squadron Aug. ’65-June ’66

Emotions: Walking down the flight line at Saigon past stacks of aluminum cases containing American bodies and past stacks of aluminum luggage containing American currency. Seeing the tight, sad face of an Airman loading the bodies aboard a dirty Air Force Transport and the wide smiling face of a stewardess greeting the passengers aboard a clean Pan American Clipper Jet. Hearing a Vietnamese beg you to leave his country and an American colonel tells you to bomb his country. Hearing a Vietnamese invite you to live in his home, after the war and an American explain why you can’t live in his block, after the war. Flying over barren, brown, safe American held terrain and over lush, green unsafe enemy terrain. Feeling happy to be leaving a country in which you do not belong and sad to be returning to a country in which you are not allowed to belong. Sacrificing a portion of your consciousness so you won’t have to deal with being there and building mental blocks so you won’t have to deal with having been there.

- Al Hubbard, proven fraud who never set foot in Viet Nam. The only Vietnamese he ever met was when he was collaborating with the North Vietnamese in Paris
on the American Communist Party's nickel.
John Kerry's explanation: "He (Hubbard) simply exaggarated his particular position.
But nobody knew it at the time. And those things happen."

The New Soldier, (46 pages)
By John Kerry
and Vietnam Veterans
Against the War

Did anyone see this live this afternoon?
I got to see it.
See this..."If I take some crippled veterans down to the White House and we chain ourselves to the gates, will we get coverage?" "Oh, yes, we will cover that."
He's crippled and he didn't quite manage to chain himself to the gate, but he sure showed up at it.

This is ridiculous. I can't believe that so many people will drive around with Kerry bumper stickers on their cars. Supporting Kerry is really taking the "anybody but Bush" thing way way too far.

Yea I saw it. This whole 527 thing reminds me of Algore in the recount fiasco. All Dems are the same I guess, let me know if I'm off base here but here's the analogy:

Algore said he wanted "Every Vote to count" at the same time asking for a recount only in three heavily Dem Counties.

In other words freedom of political expression only for those who agree with me.

Kerry by his lack of joining the pres on this gives green light to all 527 groups. EXCEPT the swifties must be silenced!

Same thing here freedom of political expression only for those who agree with me

Since Cleland has credance because he blew off three of his own limbs, he should blow off his last limb. Then, he will really be credible.

Of course he wouldn't.

Interestingly enough, this is not the first time that John Kerry has exploited crippled Vietnam Vets for his own purposes, as seen in his VVAW march on Washington, D.C. circa 1971 (above - (C) J.F. Kerry, The New Soldier, 1972).

The demonrat polls must be showing Kerry nosediving. This was a desperate and pathetic attempt to get pictures of the most unfortunate McClelland doing Kerry's bidding.

Stick a fork in 'em: they're done.

Didn't see it live, but I got a full dose from all the usual suspects.

"Just STFU about Vietnam; I don't want to talk about it anymore; I want to talk about what I did when I returned, since I haven't been beat up enough by Veterans yet."

"Besides, I don't know why YOUR Swift Vets are so p*ssed at me; I SAID to them at the PCF-1 monument dedication that I didn't mean Swiftees; it was just all the other vets who committed atrocities and war crimes."

"After all, when I protested, at least I acted out of principle! Oh, and would you, who has no principles, please just talk about the issues? And don't forget that my Senate record; my integrety or its lack; or anything I said or did after I returned from Vietnam---did I mention I was a hero over there, and won 3PH's, a bronze Star, and a silverStar?--are NOT issues."

"And speaking of issues, your lawyer has to quit, but all mine can keep working for Move-on, because only Republicans can have any conflicts of interest. I read that in the FEC rules somewhere, I'm sure."

November 2, 2004 can't come soon enough.

Hey, now? What's that sound?
Everybody look what's goin' down!
It's Kerry spinnin' and floppin' around!

There's a smokin' gun over there,
Kerry's spinnin' and tearin' 'is hair,
Whinin' that tellin' the truth ain't fair!

"Damn the phone calls! Full speed ahead, Mr. O'neil!"

"Aye, aye, Sir! Fire at Kerry, Mr. Gardner!"
