Does Illinois not have any conservatives living in the state? How could a landslide take place unless the entire state is filled with liberals?

If I remember correctly Obama was pulling in about 25% of the Republican vote in the most recent polls. Only the die-hards are supporting Keyes.
Illinois is the home of Corrupt Cook County, and the Dems hold both houses of the Illinois Legislature, the governor's and attorney general's offices.
The AG is the daughter of the Speaker of the House (Dem Leader) in Illinois.
The governor is the son in law of Mayor Daley's Chief Hack on the city council.

Illinois might have 30% conservatives. This will be a good chance to see exactly just what percent there are. Of course, many would-be Republicans are humiliated by the George Ryan debacle.
