There is a damn good chance that the Iraqi's could care less if they have a right to vote. As with many here in this country they seem to just want the Big Man to take care of them.

What did you expect? I have often wondered what universe the people who expected Iraqi's to welcome us as liberators, lived in? Not only are they Islamic Arabs, they are patrotic as well.

Consider if, in some demented alternate universe, Iraq had liberated us from Clinton? Would you be kissing Iraqi butt in gratitude right now?

They hate our culture just as much as we hate theirs, and the chance they are going to change their culture so as to make democracy possible, and make us happy, is slim and none.

I don't watch soccer but I did watch their victory over Costa Rica and was happy for them. Now that they have lost to Morocco, I for one will be glad/happy when they lose another one and these ungrateful basta**s can go home and join the Al-Sadr militia so we can kill them!
