There are many Jews who don't care about Israel or are even hostile to it Look...why should this shock anyone?
It shocks the multitude of morons, including many on this site, who think Jews vote only based on Israel. How else do you justify the age old dual loyalty canard.

Just this evening, my wife and I took her mother to an early-bird special dinner in Delray Beach, Florida. The restaurant, Lindburgers, is a favorite among the many Jewish retirees from New York. There were several older ladies there with their "Kerry/Edwards" campaign buttons on. I thought it politic NOT to engage them in rhetoric.
