I'm with you Pat. I too, was a liberal, America hating, Christianity-hating, I didn't want to see the truth, I only wanted to find someone or something to hate. I have paid a dear price.
Good article...

Excellent article! The left has distorted the truth like a funhouse mirror. After a while I actually think they start to believe their own lies. We need to stay strong and united. The truth will prevail and John Kerry will go down in flames!

That is a good article, very solid.

How do you think I feel? I am a college professor and actually voted for Carter! The first time, that is. Then I discovered ... common sense.
Believe me, nothing will sicken you like several years at a major university and drive you to the Republican Party. Unless, of course, you enjoy forcing everyone to recognize sick and twisted things as "normal."

Ive always been a trusting person. Ive always believed that if people were given the truth, they would respond in a positive manner. Talk about naïve! This notion first started to crack many years ago. I remember the first presidential election of Bill Clinton in 1992. Information came out in credible form that Mr. Clinton had a serious problem with adultery and the truth. The Gennifer Flowers story then threatened his candidacy, but he was bailed out by the great guardian of truth, 60 Minutes. At the time, I was baffled that so many people chose to accept Bill and Hillarys incredible denials.

I would rephrase that.
His essay, his entire point, is even more impressive (depressing ?) if you use "morals" rather than "truth".

Thank you so much for the ping! This essay and your post brought this passage to mind (emphasis mine):
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. - 2 Th 2:7-12
