Fox News Reports Bob, not John Kerry Was Vice-Chairman of Intelligence Committee
Fox News

Posted on 08/16/2004 3:23:09 PM PDT by what's up

Fox News just had a news segment where the Kerry campaign, in angry response to Bush claims that Kerry attended few Intelligence briefings, said that Kerry had at one time been the Vice-Chairman of the Intelligence campaign.

In response, the Bush people gleefully (Fox's word) returned fire by saying that it was BOB Kerrey, not JOHN Kerry who was Vice-Chairman of the Intelligence committee.

The list could go on virtually forever... Dukakis, Teddy Kennedy, Daschle, Hillary, McGreevey, Torricelli...

You have to laugh! It's a mental health thing. lol Things could always be worse anyway. You could be stuck on the other side, trying to come up with the magic bullet to prop up your pathetic loser for yet one more day.

Nixon... First blood... When left tilted fourth estate got a taste of having real power. Strangely, it was also the beginning of Hillary's rise to power.

Nixon's mistake was being a member of the party with core beliefs & values beyond grabbing up as much power as you can get your hands on. His own side let him know it was time for him to go & he did, rather than handing out today's talking points to shoot down & destroy anyone who got in the way.

Kerry, anal, disfunctional, deluded, illusions of grandeur, not exactly a hard working guy. I think the fingerprint he has on the webpage is the change from 6 years on the committee, to 8 years... Torts knows how to appeal to the emotions of the right 12 people on the right given day, not exactly high end practice in the law.

"MSM", is prolly on it's last gasp. It's a matter of demographics. As time goes by, fewer people are gonna be intimidated by technology. Starting soon, if it's not already here, we'll become our own "reporters", seeking out multiple sources to process news.

When does John Kerry start claiming Bob Kerrey's Congressional Medal of Honor?

I may not agree with Bob Kerrey on much, but he is a real war hero unlike flipper.

PRES RAYGUN WROTE: "I can understand John Kerry mistaking himself for Bob Kerry. I used to make the same mistake myself all the time."

NICK DANGER RESPONDED: "I get that one right, but I'm always confusing Christmas with Valentine's Day."

NICK DANGER ADDED: "But let me ask a serious question here. If this guy does not know John from Bob, Vietnam from Cambodia, Nixon from Johnson, or Christmas from New Year's, how can we be sure he knows sh*t from Shinola?"

LOL!!!!!!! That is a very good question!

HUMBLEGUNNER WROTE:

"Classic and hilarious!"

"His name was Bob before he changed it to John during a secret CIA mission somewhere that might have been Cambodia during Christmas of '68 or possibly '69 and because Nixon sent him there it is SEARED into his mind. Then he was appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the Intelligence committee.

That clears everything up, it's all good now.

These folks are trying to lose.

=========================================

I believe you've got it figured out...they are trying to lose. I can't believe that four of my Pennsylvania relatives think Bush is stupid. Bush isn't stupid...Bush is just TEXAN!!!!! Kerry is STUPID!!! He thinks he can keep getting away with insane, provably false statements.

I perceive that since Kerry missed most of the Intelligence meetings, that he suffers from the lack of intelligence.

His lack of intelligence trickles down to his campaign managers. It is the trickle-down campaign.

blessings, Bobo

The Kerry campaign has no fact checkers?

What would be the point of that. It would only make their cannidate look even worse.

Except---it wasn't John Kerry who held up the Bill and cast the deciding vote. It was Bob KerrEy.

I remember that well. Bob Kerrey opposed the Tax increases and other provisions of the bill. Clinton called him to the White House and had a private meeting with him. What was said is unknown, but Kerrey was never the same after that. He seemed to lose his independence, and became more or less a Clinton lap dog and apologist.

I wonder if maybe Shrillery had some records of Kerrey's Vietnam "atrocities" that came to light in about 2001, and threatened Kerrey with their "leaking".

They don't think they need them because the commie press doesn't report their missteps. We still find out nonetheless. Here's to the new media.
