If you think Charley did more damage than Andrew you are completely misinformed. Andrew lasted much longer and did damage that was beyond anyone's anticipation.

The debris remained on the streets for many many months. You can bet that this governor will have the debris removed immediately. He has not forgotten those pictures of Andrew.

I live in Homestead Florida. Charley was a larger storm with a wider area of destruction. While I don't know if the death count will go past the actual number of Andrew deaths, the path of destruction is larger than Andrew caused.
