Thanks for the ping. Odd thing is that while I've always claimed that I've never been scared here, I did write 'goodbye' emails to a bunch of people during one artillery attack in April. It is odd to seriously believe that this is your last night and realize that you can also be calm about it. Pretty wierd. A retired CSM friend of mine told ,e tjat it got that way, that at some point al time was borrowed but I never udnerstood until that night.
SSince then a life has a whole lot less stress to it than before. Small shit is exaclty that and it's all small shit. The challenge is to continually remind yourself of that.
This guy's theme today is right on. It ain't like the movies.
Today I received a sh*t load of e-mails from people telling me that I should just give up the blog, what you wrote sucked ass, your censored now and it blows, what you wrote is boring, where the f**k is all the carnage and the sting of battle that we oh so crave to read about and that you wrote about in the past?
