Finally the Ft. Myers guys are talking about Naples. The radar had shown for a long time a band of wind just as intense as the eye barreling in on Naples.
Thank you, she is in her 80's and has MS. My cousin is in the area, I would trust they have evacuated. My mom was going to call this afternoon.
I am concerned as a lot of news reports say the storm "snuck up" on a lot of people, and the evacustions started belatedly. Also got concerned when I read the last paragraph of the account of one mans storm experience on the Fox News webpage lead story. Sounded very nasty.
