I'm worried about that easterly shift too...will it pick up more steam when it hits the Atlantic? Experts, please chime in.
The experts aren't even experts in this field, your guess is as good as thiers. I think it will strengthen, how much who knows.
Dunno, but I shifted to JAX radar to be sure it wasn't just an optical illusion as the bands exited the scope. there is definitely a NE flow above JAX. Will be interesting to see what happens to that band of red t-storms when it hits JAX. That seems to be the point of departure.
