Pray...and have a glass of wine or two. I'm way ahead of you on that...but thanks. My sons are actually pretty good at the "preparing and surviving" stuff.
Camping, caving and rock climbing was a regular part of their upbringing.
But, being from Georgia...body surfing was not a regular activity.
Hubby and I have prayed and it is now in God's hands. Ya'll keep praying too.
And.....thanks as always to the Freepers who somehow manage to keep us sane...or insane...

"Almost every" hurricane in the Atlantic generally curves in a big clockwise loop: ending up towards the north and moving east as it gets further north.
Or curve inland (moving more north than east) and breakup over West Virginia, PA, NY, and even Canada. It depends on the random movement of high pressure and low pressure fronts coming from the west while the hurricane is moving north as a low pressure system.
But they also loop, curve back, twist, and move in hesitating steps all the way.
