Ted Kennedy's car has killed more innocent human beings than any 'assault rifle' I have ever owned

Mine, too. Ya think the ones we bought were broken? :-)

"The provision that banned "high-capacity" ammunition magazines is also scheduled to expire Sept. 13, although the House bill calling for the ban's extension does not mention high-capacity magazines."

There are multiple bills filed to extend to make permanent the ban. Some merely change the expiration date (H.R. 3831), or remove it, without changing the provisions. The worst of them expand the ban(H.R.2038). Mainly in a reduction of the number of features that will get a gun banned, to one. Also via a redefintion of what is a "pistol grip", pretty much extend the ban to any semi-auto with a removable magazine. A sort of "stealth feature" of the bill.

"I can't wait to hear the Feinstein/Schumer/Brady crowd howl with rage when their smarmy little pet law expires, either."

Celebrate the day by purchasing magazines, a whole lot of them that hold over ten rounds.
