This is about as good as it is going to get from the mainstream media. In fact, look for this to be the new Democratic approach: since the vets are credible, suggest they just remember things differently and are bitter about the anti-war stuff. Safer than attacking the vets directly, which leads to demands to release Kerry's records, and better for saying "let's all just move on, there's nothing to see here."

Could all the things that some of his fellow Vietnam veterans are saying about John Kerry ... be true?

Answer: Yes, when they show the documentation to back it up and Kerry refuses to release his records.

Yes, it could be true and JF'nK could be lying like the psycho he is, but the lame-stream partisan media will try to cover his tail with drivel like this, and the Kool-Aid Bush-haters don't care. They are like the kid who sticks his fingers in his ears and goes, "NAAA-NAAA-NAAA!" to keep from hearing what he doesn't want to hear.

LOL......so it is much too dangerous to call the swift vets for truth liars, so suddenly they're all telling the truth.

Not damned likely.

So what's the truth? Are we destined for an unresolvable "Rashomon"-like saga of memories and counter-memories? Probably.

Oh, man, apparently. As long as the Jim Pinkertons of the world are evaluating things. Jesus Christ! What is wrong with people? Does Pinkerton not understand that the testimony breaks at about 19 to one? And yet Pink is unable to decide what the truth is??? Kerry's subordinates clearly don't count. Only his peers -- i.e., the folks at swiftvets.com -- are qualified to judge him as a swiftboat commander. And they are almost universally disgusted with him as a man and a commander.

But Kerry's detractors, organized into "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth," are mostly credible, too. They have scars, medals and a lot of anger...

My brother really hopes that this exposes Kerry as a liar and a fraud, but I think it will follow a pattern of so many other Democrat scandals that were undeniably true--first it's thrashed out, then denied by the candidate, then becomes old news. But if Kerry keeps bragging about Vietnam, this story will keep popping up against him.

That might be the best we can hope for and expect. Kerry will quietly drop this major talking point of his and have to find something fresh to talk about. I think that the MSM is giving him a "pass" and a veiled warning to start talking about something relevant to our current situation.

If Kerry is telling the truth, all he would have to do is release ALL of his military records and this whole thing would disappear from the media radar and be over in one day.

All of the spin his people are putting out indicates they have no facts, just spin.

You just know that if Kerry was a Republican, the MSM would never again refer to his military career without adding the modifying adjective "controversial."

Instead of looking at all the things the dems and MSM are doing, lets look at what they are NOT doing. If what Kerry says is true and the swifties lied, as an advisor I would tell Kerry to get those record out just as fast as he can because it would go a long way toward is election. For Kerry it would be a God send - yet they refuse.
