Deport the non-violent illegals; kill the ones involved in any form of terrorism. Pretty clear-cut, IMO.

On 9/12/01, all visas for citizens or subjects of Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Iran, Saudia Arabia, Pakistan, and Yemen should have been cancelled, and the (former) visa holders interned.
All entry into the United States by nationals of the above-referenced nations should have been prohibited.
After that was accomplished, any nationals of the above-referenced nations remaining at large in the interior of the United States could have been hunted down and shot.

It's sad that so-called conservatives are willing to call for the non-judicial execution of people based solely on their nation of origin.
Unfortunately, I fear it will take another attack to get people even close to this sort of thinking.
Just as with criminal court, many innocent victims will suffer because of the bending-way-way-way-over-backwards to avoid an unfair prosecution.

It will. Half of America - the lib-dem garbage - is still in denial that it ever happened, one quarter - so-called moderates - doesn't want to be reminded again that it happened, and the rest of us are still filled with the desire for revenge, not justice.
Well, my premises are:
1) We are at war with a hostile foreign power that subsists within the borders of those nations
2) We have the right to designate nationals of those foreign powers as enemy aliens
3) Anyone here without a visa and who has refused to submit to legitimate authority (i.e., has avoided internment) is an enemy combatant
and
4) Per ex parte Quirin (1942), enemy combatants on our national territory out of uniform are in fact subject to nonjudicial execution, as also supported by the Laws and Usages of War, the Geneva Convention, and abundant human history.
So, I have hardly designated people for execution based "solely on their nation of origin", but rather under a very tightly circumscribed set of indisputable facts.
