".... It galls me to no end that people in this country don't know what a real lady is anymore...."

After 8 yrs of exposure to Hitlery, the nation has forgotten that "real" ladies do exist. I am extremely proud of our first lady. God help us if Teraaaaaza should become our first lady. I don't think the WH is good enough for her....and how will the rest of the world react to her?

The elitist arrogance of this man is amazing. And the stupidity as well. If you're going to pull off a cheeseball stunt like eating at Wendy's to show solidarity with the common man - you don't have a gourmet meal prepared for you where you actually eat your lunch. You suck it up and actually eat at Wendy's. But he couldn't even wait the few hours necessary to wait for dinner.

Whatever points he thought he might have gained by taking a few bites at Wendy - he forfeited, and then some, by demonstrating his elitism and fakery at that gourmet table.

...what's all this insisting upon having your maiden name inserted in all references to yourself – Heinz Kerry, Rodham Clinton – all about?

The really funny thing, the amusing irony, is that "Heinz" is not her "maiden name." It's her married name to a mega-wealthy, deceased, former husband. She's not hanging on proudly to her identity as the daughter of a colonialist Portuguese doctor by using her maiden name Ferreira. She's broadcasting her status as a member of a major agribusiness family by using the famous name of Heinz.

Is that any way to assert your street creds as a feminist icon and woman of the people?

After reading your post, I went over to have a look at DU.

HOW do you read that tripe?

"He is so over....its pathetic...the Republicans wont even have to worry about the "Gun Votes" this time out...even a lot of moderate lefites will vote for GW"

Don't count your chickens before they're hatched and never "mis"-underestimate the stupidity of the general public. Don't forget that Clinton was elected....twice.

I almost forgot why I was voting for the Constitution Party rather than GOP. Your "Gun-Votes" comment reminded me why. I was just about to send $50 bucks to the Swift Boat Vets.......I think I'll send it to the Constitution Party instead.

You hit it on the head. We are the ones with weapons. They would have to rely on the police. Good luck lefty!

I just spent my daily 30 minutes on DU for my morning laugh.

How can you stomach it? Are you just lurking there or do you post too?

Prancing around with Ron Reagan, Jr. and Ben Affleck, both two has-beens, is not going to get John "traitor" Kerry elected. Remember Affleck's failed movies and his girl friend Jennifer Lopez (Jennifer Lopez is like the village bicycle, everyone has had a ride!)! Sad to say, not much there! As for Ron, his fifteen minutes of fame are now long gone! The whole Democrat convention was a total failure! When you try to pull an Animal Farm (G. Orwell)on the American people, it just don't work! Kerry is nothing but a low life, liberal vermin! He is going down big time and taking the "traitor" Democrat Party with him! Thank god!

I believe her maiden name was already hyphenated, Simoes- Ferreiro. Now that would be a mouthful--Teresa Simoes-Ferreiro-Kerry. I find it odd/funny that she keeps her first husband's name to share with the Kerry. I suspect it might have something to do with the prestige of the multimillion dollar name Heintz. Tuh-raze-ah
is nothing if not flamboyant. I believe that far from being retiring and private as was suggested at the beginning of K's campaign,
Momma T. loves the limelight.

Send the ad around.

I send a link to it to most on my list, plus I also added this:

"Oh, by the way, Kerry also said the threat of
terrorism is a Bush plot to scare the American people:

"'I think there has been an exaggeration,' Mr. Kerry
said when asked whether President Bush has overstated
the threat of terrorism. 'They are misleading all
Americans in a profound way.'"

Original source:
http://www.washtimes.com/national/20040129-115023-8966r.htm

Oh, by the way, he also admitted to war atrocities on
Meet the Press in 1971.

I have attached a small mp3 of Kerry admitting to
such. It should only take a minute to download, even
on dial-up. Here is a link to an Encarta Encyclopedia
article about Kerry confirming the quote as legit
(though the encyclopedia cuts the quote off a lot
earlier....before Kerry says he burned villages):

http://encarta.msn.com/text_761581713___3/John_Kerry.html"

The trouble for them is, when there's real anarchy, there is no law. There would be no police to help them.

>""Heinz" isn't her maiden name. It's her first husband's name.

I think it's weird to haul your first husband's name into a second marriage, but nobody else seems to much care."<

Let me help you with that. It's really very simple - it combines the name of her honey with the name of her M-O-N-E-Y!

I can understand the concept of 'know thine enemy', but they are a humourless bunch.

I read six or seven threads without a giggle. I normally can't get through four or five paragraphs on FR without getting a belly laugh from some of the witty ones on here.

Rush said himself Monday, I think. John F*ckin' will have a Howard Dean moment and he will melt down.

The Howard Dean moment coincided with a thumbs-down comment from Bill Clinton a few days before, plus the mysterious discovery and MSM publication of a letter addressed to President Bill Clinton urging him to a Kosovo-Bosnia war, from the supposedly anti-war Dean. Who would have had a copy of that?

The Howard Dean scream was nothing. It was far more innocuous than the outrageously stupid things he'd been saying all throughout his campaign. But the Clinteone's needed a coalescing incident to center their takedown scheme on. So the word was given to the Clinton Goebbels machine - and the scream suddenly became the most outrageous thing these spittle-spewing wack-jobs had ever heard.

The amusing irony of the coming Kerry takedown, is that Bill probably won't need to do a thing. Kerry is such a flawed POS, that his own takedown is built-in to his character and candidacy.
