This is what it is TM'rs. We all know we are guests in Jim's 'home' and with that comes consideration and respect.
There will be NO bashing any mods, it will be taken private or there will be NO MORE Threat Matrix !!! That comes from the top!
Please everyone here review the following rules, they are not posted just for fun, they must be adhered to!
Do lead by example - Nothing improves a forum more than posters who reason sharply, write well, and have some perspective about it all. Be one of them.
Do preview - Preview twice, post once. And, ahem, close your HTML tags before you hit the reply button.
Do keep it clean - A bruise or two between Freepers is tolerable, but refrain from abusive attacks, engaging in senseless flame wars, and using profane language. Considering the range of topics we discuss, it's hard to be a family site, but that's what we aim for when at all possible.
Do "take it to the Alley" - The Alley is a public chat room. A link to it is provided on the latest posts page. Invite people there if you want to talk things over or settle a score, so to speak, off site.
Do use common sense - If you read a post that sounds too good or strange to be true, it probably is.
Do stay on topic
FR has varied topics for whatever you need to say
Do keep "vanity" posts to a minimum - Free Republic is primarily a place to discuss news, articles, and editorials. Vanity posts, creations of the poster him or herself, should meet a high standard of quality before one is even considered worthy of posting.
Don't jump threads - If you get involved in an argument in one thread, it's considered poor manners to restart the previous argument in the middle of an unrelated thread.
Don't play games - Don't represent yourself as another person, create or use another screen name to avoid a revocation of posting privileges, misrepresent the site or your role in it

And we were there and I have not had such an overwhelming experience since Nixon's rallies!
Ronald Reagan showed through all Alan said!
We got there early 1:30 and crowd was building but was to be at least 1000 strong!!! A State Senator said he was sorry to us all for not realising the support Keyes would have and the fact we needed a bigger hall! My son and daughter had their cameras (one digital, many photos I will put on site later) as the two poster she has already made for me posted here
Kinetic was immediately interviewed for her take on the youth for Keyes
We did not have a clue we were in the path where Alan would enter -guardian guidance- so they got perfect shots!
The surprise of the day is my old family friend's appearance, Henry Hyde, poor Oh Henry, ailing and frail but he was there!
As were every lib media who I yelled at telling them I certainly hope they would report this correctly! The only station to put the lib spin on it of course was ABC!
Alan himself called the press out on their liberal coverage!
So much happened don't have a clue where to begin...
feel free to ask questions!
But for my friends here I want you to know I 'spoke' to the whole 5-6 protestors outside who were whining about "CarpetBagger" I said vote for Hilliary. They got all excited like the sheeple they are. I said OK, now take your silly posters down because she disliked y'll enough to leave Illinois and carpetbag to NYC! The state police were laughin...and then I snapped me fingers, said pffft and walked away ;)
Alan ended his speech, which btw had many of us in tears,
with it doesn't matter what politicians say, it doesn't matter what anyone says BECAUSE this is in "God's" hands and if the libs think they saw tough times before, he is declaring they have seen nothing yet!

PS I finally met a longtime FR buddy Freeper Unspun and talked to another Freeper Cfrels {Thanks Cfrel!},who guided me to other Freeper's after the rally, sadly I missed most of you due to the crowd!

WOW! Huge crowd in Arlington Hts!!So crowded it was hard to find Freepers, but a few of us found each other.
It was very hot inside, but the turnout was great and Dr. Keyes was FANTASTIC. Lots of press there, I hope they understood his speech....if all they ask about is Maryland and campaign debt, we'll know they didn't understand anything.

Whoo hoo! What a great thing to hear Dr. Keyes speak!! I managed to get there late enough to not get in, but met up with a couple of FReepers. I am very inspired, to say the least.

Just came from the rally since I live a block away and it was great! Saw a lot of Freepers there, although I didn't read the posts this morning before I got to the rally, I knew they wouldn't let us down! There were at least 400-500 inside and half of the parking lot outside was full! Good turn-out! Couple of democRATs showed up with signs saying "Carpet Bagger" and "hypocrite". I had to go over to them and find out what was going on. Afterwards I had to wipe off the fairy dust from standing too close to them while arguing with them. All in all, I saw that Republicans in this state are ready to have someone to back with vigure and are willing to put aside their differences so that we keep the lilly liberals out of office!
