Oh, come on, mindspy, don't make lazy little me write it all out longhand (defeats the purpose of the abbreviation). Law enforcement=LE. Law enforcement official=LEO. You are not stupid. We all pick these acronyms up sooner or later here on TM. ;)
In the begininning, some of us ridiculed acronyms, alphabets (NSC; CIA; FBI, etc.). I was one of them. Then, I wrote a private message to someone and I laughed as I saw it had about 2 acronyms per sentence!
I was really hoping LE's were Little Elves. We'd probably have a better chance at thwarting the goblins. Thank you though for enlightening me. I will follow your suggestion. However, when I have tried to get info from LE's I know (not Little Elves but reall LawMen) they never say anything I haven't already read here. I tell them to go the FR and check out TM they might learn something.
