Potentially Lethal Chemical Stolen (UK)
Police were today searching for thieves who stole 23 litres of a potentially lethal chemical from a factory.
Hydrosluoric acid which is used for industrial cleaning was taken from the factory in Dereham, Norfolk, early yesterday, said a police spokeswoman.
She warned that the chemical could cause deep tissue burns if it touched skin and gave off strong fumes which could prove fatal.
