You know, I have no doubts that the contents of this post are true and are very damning of Lurch. But this is preaching to the converted.

Why is no one giving these vets a voice anywhere?

I know the book is coming out and there is a rally going on in D.C. in September, but this should be on every news channel every day. But instead, the only way you find out about this is by going to conservative web sites or blogs. It is the 'average joe' who should be hearing this, the undecided voter, the moderate dems...but they are not. It is very frustrating to me.

Everyone is afraid to call Kerry on the carpet for his comments either in print or in front of the committee when he got back from his Viet Nam dalliance, why?

This guy is a lazy phoney and I fear he may get elected if his past doesn't get shown the light of day.

Why?

Because, unlike most people, I have no faith in the average person doing any more research into who they vote for other than snappy slogans or witty sound bites or spin put out by the mainstream media (who by the way, cannot wait to crown this guy champion of the 2004 election season).

Aaargh, ok that is my rant for the day. I am just getting frustrated.

By the way, I do get some satisfaction in FReeping my local bookstore, by covering up left leaning political books with the appropriate conservative books. Yes it is petty, but it makes me feel good.

Very quietly, and under the media's radar, there are many thousands of us speaking out against kerry and using these words to bolster our claims. We're talking to friends, families, and co-workers.

It's one thing to hear things from the 'media'; it's quite another to hear it from a long-time friend, a father, an uncle, an aunt, or someone you've worked with for years. Don't underestimate the effect that this will have. While there will be many who still vote for him anyway, a huge number of long-time democRATs are already having serious doubts about voting for this traitor. It's gonna get worse for him from here on.
