Andrea Mitchell is such a liar
Don Imus Show, ImusMSNBC | 7-26-2004 | Andrea Mitchell

Posted on 07/26/2004 4:39:42 AM PDT by ontos-on

Andrea Mitchell on Imus just now. Imus this morning is stumbling through the Sandy Berger story to the extent he does not know why the documents were stolen by Berger. Of course, it is confusing to many --mainly because the press wont report it right. Imus asked her the crucial question: why would he steal these things if the original were still there?

Mitchell gave no answer only repeating that Berger claims he did not put documents in his pants and socks.

Of course, the story is that Berger took several versions of the Clinton White House after action report on the Milenium Terror Threat assessment. The different White House drafts had verious handwritten comments from several Clinton administration officals and it was this that was stolen and destroyed. The smart media knows this. Andrea Mitchell certainly knows this. But she is a dishonest person and will not report the story or provide the "context" thzat makes the story make sense. <

Why wont she do it? Simply because the full story would tarnish severely Clinton, Berger, Kerry and possibly Hillary. That is why she is such a hack masquerading as something else.

Didn't Imus call her a liar a few months ago?

I saw that this morning. Mitchell was all about excuse-making for Berger, repeating Berger's lawyer's talking points and concluding it was just an honest mistake.

Andrea Mitchell on Imus just now.

No one cares what AM says on Imus. Like him or not, Imus makes people look like the bumbling patsies they are.

Especially himself!

Andrea Mitchell is on the board of directors for the Heinz Foundation. Eventually, the dots will all connect...

Incredible! I did not know that. How about some full disclosure, Andrea? NBC, MSNBC?

Who cares if they weren't originals? He still committed a crime. It may have simply been for CYA purposes for him and his boss so they could practice revisionist history as to what they did or didn't do at the time. Either way, he should go to jail.

Just another example of our unbiased journalist. You cannot believe any of them. Imus is a liberal who tries to hide it once in a while.

Didn't Imus call her a liar a few months ago? --------------------------

Imus' "opinions" are directed by various undisclosed agenda not disclosed: (1) his need to keep relations with the NY liberal establishment; (2) his kooky wife's "friendship" with Theresa Heinz; (3) his demented sense of what is "cool"; (4) his hatred of seriousness.

Imus' calling someone "a liar" means nothing because if that person is within the scope of the above agenda, he/she will soon be the toast of the Imus show, regardless. Lately, he seemed to change when his wife made the push for Kerry; before that it was all ==Bush is my man. The interviews are what are interesting on the show. As distasteful as they are, they show the underside of the people interviewed even though they are still in their mask.

And probably mumbling and slobbering, as usual.

I am amazed that anyone still watches/listens to the inane ramblings of the goofy moron.

His drug-addled, brain damaged silliness is not the least bit relevant to events in the world today.

He needs to hang it up and go away.

Actually, perhaps there's a little waggle room but it's "The Heinz Awards" and it's mission is...

The Heinz Awards, administered by the Heinz Family Philanthropies, recognize outstanding individuals for their contributions in the areas of Arts and Humanities, Environment, Human Condition, Public Policy, and Technology, the Economy and Employment.

The Heinz Awards Board of Directors

Teresa is listed as the Grand Pooh-bah. Some of the recipients of this award have been complicit in the very questionable, Anti-Bush smear campaign and Teresa "allegedly" has used this "award" to funnel cash to these groups for this purpose.

Who cares? It is the reason of the theft. If they are just copies and nothing irreplacable was taken, then it is not comprehensible why he did it. In that posture, the "slopiness" nonesense even begins to make sense, since he had no motive. But that is exactly what Clinton wants people to believe. And that story works so long as the irreplacable nature of the handwritten notes [on the verious drafts of the Clinton White House copies that were in the National Archives]is not disclosed or reported. Andrea Mitchell got her mission notes on how she is to report this story and that's all she does.

You're wrong. I care.

In his style he got her to say what she said and we're talking about it. Don't shoot the messenger.

I disagree. As I stated in my post, it's not implausible that he took them just so he and his cronies had access to them to see what they wrote/said way back when. They were asleep at the switch with regard to al Qaeda in the 1990's and they need to CYA.

Jane Hall and Neal Gabler made mention of that on this weekends Fox Newswatch when the topic of discussion was pushing for full disclosure in the media, especially during election years.

That being the case, every time Andrea reports on Kerry it should begin with, "In the interest of full disclosure, I am on the board of the Heinz Foundation."
