Group Announces Execution of Pakistani Captives:

Severed Head of Bulgarian Shown on Hosting Anime Terror Site Apparently Hosted by Texas Internet Company

Researcher Calls on U.S. Government for Help

    In a videotape sent to Al Jazeera television, a group calling itself the Islamic Army announced that it had executed two Pakistani captives.

    The two men were working with a Kuwaiti subsidiary of Saudi company Al-Tamimi, which had been subcontracted to supply food to American forces in Iraq.

    The videotape displayed the decapitated bodies of the two Pakistanis, but Al jazeera ddid not air it, citing viewer sensitivities.

    The same group, Al Jazeera reported, said it had freed an Iraqi driver after he had proved that he was deluded and had announced his repentance.

    Last week, the Pakistani foreign ministry said that two nationals, Raja Azad Khan and Sajjad Naeem, were identified as missing.

    Although Aljazeera did not air the graphic footage it did replay scenes showing the Pakistani captives giving their names and identity papers verifying their positions as contractors to US-based company Kellogg, Brown and Root.

    The captors also displayed a picture of the two Pakistani men hugging a US military officer in Iraq.

     Meanwhile, the Sofia News Agency (SFN) reported, a terrorist group is threatening that a video showing the beheading of one of the Bulgarian hostages in Iraq will appear on the Internet.

     According to SFN, Bulgarian truck drivers Ivaylo Kepov, 32, and Georgi Lazov, 30, were abducted June 29 near the northern city of Mosul. A group affiliated with al-Zarqawi said it kidnaped the Bulgarians and demanded Iraqi detainees be released in exchange for their lives. The group subsequently sent a tape to Al Jazeera that showed Lazov being killed. His death was officially confirmed last Thursday.

       Kepov's fate is still not clear, SFN reported, although Bulgarian media cited Thursday an Iraqi official who said that the Bulgarian is dead and his body has been found.

         The al-Tawhid wal Jihad group that abducted the two Bulgarians in Iraq says it will publish the beheading video on its web site.
       "Await for a video with the execution of the Bulgarian unbeliever" reads the Tawhid wal Jihad Internet site cited by the Bulgarian National Radio as reported by SFN.

        A picture with a militant holding a severed bloody head has also been placed on the site. The man, SFN reported, is standing in front of the terror group flag with a Sunni-style slogan "There is no other God besides Allah."

        The text says, SFN reported, that the graphic image is a warning to the allies of President George W. Bush, "the fool whom those obey and ally with."

       The text also reads, according to SFN, that the Bulgarian government did not bow to the "lawful" claims of the mujaheddin.

    According to the militants, the Bulgarian government is an ally of the Americans and is taking part in the crusade against Iraq. The statement and the head of the Bulgarian is also on line at www.hostinganime.com/iraqnews1/

    This is the same site that features further down its pages the beheading on video as an available download of South Korean translator Kim Sun-Il.

Hosting Anime appears to host its terror sites by renting space on the servers of the Houston based Everyone's Internet (EV1), which has hosted sites in the past for groups such as the Hamas.

       EV1 has not returned a number of e-mails seeking comment but did generate an automated response in the last few weeks which read in part, "We have received your report of possible abuse of our network resources. The current number of notifications that require investigations limits the number of personal responses from the staff to senders and this might be the only response you receive regarding your notification; however, we do investigate each report."

        In addition, when asked a few weeks ago if EV1 administration would respond to an e-mail seeking answers about the company's continued relationship with Hosting Anime, a receptionist said, "If they're interested they will contact you. All we say is that they're unavailable and we can take a message."

    Writing on an SFN bulletin board ( www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=37501 ), internet terror researcher Johnathan Galt commented about EV1, "The (Hosting Anime) site is hosted at EV1.NET in Houston Texas. They host *MOST* (of) the latest murder videos and terrorist announcements. We need an international furor to force the U.S. Govt. to release all the details of these two companies. Why is the identity of the murderers and the people helping them kept secret? Important clues as to the identities of the murderers are held in the server logs of EV1. A court order is needed in order to force the companies to make them public."
