I was toying with the idea a few months ago of running a radio ad against candidates who supported CFR (within the 60 days prior to the election and using a small amount of donated funds to do so). I tried to find information on 527 and NFP groups but because there is too much ambiguity in the CFR Act and the Federal Election Commission has deliberately chosen to not clear up the ambiguity until after the upcoming election I chose to scrap the idea. The only information I could come up with is nobody knows what will happen with different ads run by 527 and NFP and other groups depending on content, timing, funding sources, and other variables. What a Mess.

Club for Growth is a conservative 527 that is running pro-Bush ads. You might write them.
