You know my feelings about Kerry, he is the lowest of the low; however, I really thing that he knew nothing of this.
He was set up by Davis and the Clintoons, and they picked the week before the Rat Convention. The Bergular was their Kamikaze suicide bomber. If Kerry wasn't the lowest of the low, I might feel a little sorry for him. However, I don't.

I think Bergler would have stalled this disclosure longer if he could have -- maybe until AFTER the convention. But I think it's a good shot that Bergler is going to be indicted. If Bergler hadn't gotten himself out of the way now, Kerry's judgement would have been called into question.
I'm sure Kerry's miffed now, but if this story had come after the convention, I think Kerry would have been even more irate.
You nailed it, Grampa. Kerry was clearly caught off guard. The Toons don't want Kerry elected anymore than we do. Never thought I'd pull for them to succeed in anything, but we need all they help we can get. I hope they'll be releasing more dirt to hurt JFK's campaign soon.
