He is a joke. First he started out being somewhat of a libetarian in his politics on "Politically Incorrect", and his stand up routine.
He is now a leftest because he wants to be a part of the Hollywood estalishment. Mahers political leftwing schtick(spelling?) as made him richer and more popular than he ever was being a stand up comedian. He never got to hang out with Pam Anderson or Madonna before he started spouting off his lefty politics.
Most thinking people know Maher is an uneducated goof ball who thinks that somehow he is a political genius and an intellectual.
The sad thing is in Hollywood compared to the other sluts and man whore druggies, Maher probably is considered an intellectual.
