Outside of San Francisco, Santa Fe has just about the highest number of gays per capita in the US, and maybe he was just teaching protection for those young'uns who might be tempted to try out that lifestyle.

Of course, teaching abstinence would be a no-no -- young people must be able to express themselves without reservation or limits.

Would do that in a heartbeat.  We came her from south Texas, the sweat 'Capitol of the World' but do not know where to go.  Thought about Idaho or western Washington state, but there are weird people there also.  Just do not know.  Thanks for the advice (it was good).....:^pilgrim

I prefer the class I had in high school where someone from the Dept. of Health came out and showed slides of STDs. Then a couple from the Crisis Pregnancy Center gave a talk about no matter how careful you think you are.... Then there was the talk from the student body president who said that no matter who you are that even if you have sex only a couple of times a pregnancy can still happen. They hinted a lot more at abstaining and responsibility.

Condoms do NOT prevent all STDs and STIs. This teach should give a class on how fashionable oral warts and herpes sores look all over their mouths.
