Japanese Abortuary Disposing Aborted Babies in Regular Garbage

A Japanese abortuary has been discarding aborted babies as regular garbage for several years. Former employees of the Isezaki Women's Clinic in Yokohama City, southwest of Tokyo, said they had been disposing of the aborted babies in plastic bags and putting them out with the regular trash.

"It is horrible if it is true," Chikara Sakaguchi, Japan's health minister said at a news conference, as reported by the AFP. "We will take measures after finding out what is actually going on."

Up until two years ago, before the clinic discontinued late-term abortions, staff reportedly chopped off the hands and feet of babies between 12 and 22 weeks old and disposed of them as regular garbage also.

Normal practice prescribes that babies older than 12 weeks be disposed of in the same way as adults, either by cremation or burial. If under 12 weeks, the Industrial Waste Disposal Law defines the remains as "infectious waste," requiring that the bodies be sealed in containers for incineration.

The Yokohama Municipal Government said it is planning to raid the clinic, and may press charges criminally.

Abortion is legal in Japan up until the 22nd week of pregnancy. There are approximately 330,000 abortions there each year.

Why would they consider it "horrible"? If the baby is as worthless as trash in the first place, then tehre is no need to treat the remains as other than trash.

The fact that it might be considered "horrible" lends credence to the fact that they know they are killing a human being when they do an abortion...

The suffering of those heinous people who care not about human life has not yet begun. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes.

I don't really know what the fuss is about. Fetuses aren't human. The law has said so. Body parts have been patented as things and commodities to be sold. So why shouldn't dead babies be tossed out as trash? /sarc.

Seriously, when I was very little, there was a round of "dead baby" jokes. They were jokes, because everyone worked to preserve babies. Choices about whether to save the mother or the unborn child were serious issues for any family, if such issues came up. Now I have seen pictures of the partial-birth abortion process, and it reminds me of a conversation I had with an old geezer in his car as a teenager as he was driving me to a store: "It's like people ain't human anymore."

And as an amazing witness to the desensitization, these monsters are not looked at in the same light as the terorists who behead folks.

In truth, the baby killers are far worse. Any rational human being would want to kill them in defense of a third party, which is legal anywhere in the US. Yet such an action would result in the death penalty for the perpetrator.

Right has become wrong and wrong has become right.
