July 21, 2004 -- Who would have thought that Sandy Berger — national security adviser under President Bill Clinton and (until yesterday) an adviser to White House wannabe John Kerry — was a fan of Chuckles the Clown from the old "Mary Tyler Moore Show"?

You know: A little song, a little dance, a bunch of secrets down my pants.

Actually, it wasn't just his pants into which Berger says he stuffed a bunch of classified documents to sneak them out of the National Archives: He crammed some into his socks, too.

Nice editorial. I wonder why there's no editorial in today's Slimes. Perhaps the editorial board was too busy casting Linda Ronstadt as a victim to write about things that affect our national security?

BTW, there is some talk that the missing documents were draft documents like it's okay as long as the finished documents exist but the fact is that a finished document is scrubbed to enclose more nuance than bald facts. They might have contained things that were excised in the final version.

Also, if the document was considered sensitive enough, there would be FBI out NOW scouring the dump that Sloppy Sandy's trash is brought to just on the off chance that they might find it.

Why would a pro like Sandy Berger risk his reputation and career to steal documents?

I have come up with two possible explanations.

He found something very incriminating about the Clintons' handling of terrorism and was sent back there by the Clintons to cleanse the files.
OR
This was an attempt to damage John Kerry. Hillary, the RED QUEEN who has files on everyone, made him do it, and then leaked the info to the press.

Sounds crazy, I know. But with these people, anything is possible

And this article, IMHO, confirms that at least the FBI has video. If it hasn't been "handled" by Clinton "sleepers", it just may be brought to light...

This thread has the Kerry anti-terrorism position that someone took off his web site "after" the Berger Boy's pantload made headlines. Might indicate Kerry's culpability if he used stolen documents.

Exactly....and now the DNC via Terry McAuliffe aree suing for FOIA info...Interesting how quickly they jumped all over this.They are turning into major headline news ....hmmmm maybe Bill found a way to clock Kerry before the convention even starts.
