CBS Radio News: Chickens more important than Berger National Security scandal!
CBS Radio ^ | 7/20/04 | CBS

Posted on 07/20/2004 1:27:16 PM PDT by Mark Felton

CBS Radio news: what may turn out to be a scandal of greater significance than the Watergate break-in is being deliberately downplayed by a antional news media organization.

At the top of the 3pm hour (CST), here in Houston on station 950KPRC, the national CBS news team ommitted any reference to the Sandy Berger Scandal. They mentioned it during the 2pm (CST) news along with the chicken abuse video story from PETA. At 3 pm though they chose to continue with the PETA news story but dropped the Berger scandal entirely.

Yep - story is already buried. MSM and rats (same thing) knew this story was coming for a long time. Let's get back to Scott Peterson and girlie-men, the impt stuff.

Be patient.

Pretty soon the wrongdoers in Soxgate will be throwing themselves against walls just as hard and clucking just as loudly in writing pain as those Pilgrim's Pride birds...when they realize what they face nightly in their cells in Club Fed after trial and conviction.

Today's bold print, above-the-fold headline in the Contra Costa Times? ' "Girlie Men" comment won't die".

Well, that's certainly more important than Sandy Burglar inadvertantly slipping classified documents into his socks and underwear, and accidently discarding some of them.

For the Lefties in the media - which is most of them - it's always time to move on. If the subject involves Demo wrongdoing.

Mark, Mark, Mark.

If the suits at See BS don't want some news to be out there and other non-news to be in the forefront, then that's the way it is.

And the FBI files stay in the closet. The nerve you must have to even ask such a question. What are you? Some kind of Republican?

It involves the man's pants. It is obviously all about sex. Can't we all just move on? I hear that the Hastert press release statement cost the government $25.35 for printing costs. How much money are we going to spend to hound this honorable public servant who is just doing his best...

How much money are we going to spend to hound this honorable public servant who is just doing his best...

Well, we do need a Nonpartisan, Blue Ribbon Commission to Study just who among the Republicans (I think we can all guess who) came up with this nefarious scheme to bedevil this humble, hardworking man who shares the values of all working Americans.

He was just fighting for the values we all share.

You know, Berger probably had information that certain documents were not going to be made available to the Commission and was taking copies just to make sure the important facts were put before the bi-partisan panel. He was just doing his duty, as he saw it. You can't fault a man for that...

I was listening to WLS 890 AM in Chicago. The regular news said an NSA aide named Sandy Burger was caught with classified material. They didn't even say former assistant NSA. Sound like a low level intern got into trouble.

They can't hide it here in Dallas - Paul Harvey talked about it this morning and Rush talked about it all afternoon, so WBAP the local ABC affiliate has to carry it!
