You don't think the RNC and WH are capitalizing right now? I think it's clear that the Bush campaign will avoid commenting on this. So it's up to the shadow campaign.

I don't think the White House needs to comment on SockGate. The scandal speaks for itself, and there isn't enough spin in the world to convince the average American that stuffing security documents into one's socks (or any issue of clothing) is inadvertant, accidental or normal.
