Think of it this way- if you could change the liberal bias in the media to an equivalent conservative bias, would you? I wouldn't.

I certainly would, for a period of about 10-15 years. It would be payback for their 40 to 50 years of extreme liberal bias and the damage it has cost us as a nation.

Agreed! Actually I've got this theory that the ONLY reason liberals have ANY power is because of the liberal press/media. When average people actually find out what liberals really are, they reject them.

I'd say easily more than 50 years.

That NY Times reporter who covered up Stalin's mass starvation 'program' happened in the 1930's IIRC - and then the guy got a Pulitzer for his lies and flowing praise of 'Uncle Joe'.

And I'm pretty sure that during the Spanish Civil War (1936-39) the Communists (US Lincoln Brigade) got all the favorable (glowing) press.

Then during WWII the tiny fact that the French resistance fighters were all commies wasn't exactly headlines here either.

It's also never mentioned that FDR's 1st Veep, Henry Wallace was an avowed communist.

And then we have the 1950's with the evils of 'McCarthyism'. Heck Joe was right, the KGB (and NKVD) was everywhere - from the State Dept to the White House staff.

There's probably many more examples, but I'd think it would be a safe guess to say 'the press' has been backing the leftists for a hundred years with their bias.
