I watched a movie from 1950 this morning. In it, the bus driver on an intercity/interstate bus has a holstered 45 right above the visor! Can you imagine the outcry if he had that today! That is how far we have slipped in this country. The "good ol days" were somewhat different from what the liberals think it was.
Several months ago I watched an old 1950s film in which the air traffic controller says to the commercial pilot,"You've got a gun there with you, don't you?". The pilot did. The comment implied that it would be unthinkable for the pilot not to have a gun.
We have indeed come a long way. I hope that we can find our way back.
