Dennis Miller has one of the greatest shows going on CNBC at 8:00 CST, opposite Hannity and Colmes.

If you haven't watched it, give it a try. It is VERRRRY well done and a refreshing format.

Smart and funny is a big turn on.

And his sexy green eyes are icing on the cake.

I love Miller. His mischievous eyes, his going off half zany rants. He is marvelous.

>As Bush arrived at the last night's rally of 8,000, >someone in a crowd of pro-Kerry and anti-Bush protesters >threw an empty plastic water bottle and hit his bus, which >is armored.

So did the Secret Service tackle the guy to the ground so they can find out how people get treated when they throw things at the President of the United States.

I don't think Miller ever totally needed a wake-up call. He may have been a shade drowsy on 9/10 but not totally asleep. At his most "leftist", he was probably a quasi-conservative Democrat. He was never a Michael Moore type.

That's not to say he's now a hardcore all around conservative. To hazard a guess, I'd say at this point he would place himself in the libertarian wing of the GOP.

If you don't have it, you should get "The Off-White Album". The funniest comedy tape I've EVER heard...

He's up against Hannity and Colmes. It doesn't take that much effort!

I think there were far more than 8000. The place was packed to the rafters and the floor was filled.

Miller and Newton were both performing at the nearby Oneida Casino, so that's why they were in town. Miller was amazing. I think Newton or my ears were having a little trouble with the acoustics in there.

The navigational system implant for sKerry's forehead made me laugh. I'm trying to remember some of his jokes. They were great; I just have a hard time remembering and retelling jokes!

One was about our forefathers having a war (I believe he said, "blowing heads off") over a beverage--and it wasn't even coffee!!! Can you imagine what they would have done with a 5-shot espresso? (something like that)

He flapped his arms like a pigeon looking for Saddam Hussein's statue--pretended to be the pigeon "Now where is that guy I used to defecate on?" (yes, he DID say "defecate")

He was wearing a nice suit and looked very conservative. I agree he is smart. Smart humor is the funniest. I will try to remember more, but I agree...RELEASE THE TAPES!!!!!

Thanks. He is funny. Isn't the joke better with defecate? I think so.

We went to the taping of Miller's show on Friday, July 16. Great show that day, and Miller's rant re the gossip about dumping Cheney was priceless. CNBC treats the studio audience like crap before and after the show, but the actual taping is interesting.
