Nancy has neither the character nor the intellect to support her party in this year of crisis. She doesn't want a Texas cowboy horning in on her husband's reputation in any way. While she won't support Kerry, don't expect her to lift a finger for W. She has screwed Republicans before, and cannot be expected to help them this time. Don't attack Nancy, just dismiss her as a tired old woman who has nothing to do with the Reagan legacy (beyond keeping his name out there in lights -- the softer the better).

I'm sure you're right, but I'm still hoping she'll come to her senses. Michael Reagan should be asked to speak at the convention. He's a great speaker and will be the "other son" that can speak on behalf of his father (unlike the tutu boy).

Yes, Michael should speak to the convention. My guess is that the "leadership" of the party doesn't trust him because he left the GOP at some point and even today may not be a registered Republican (does anyone know?)

But if he gives his word, he can be relied on to give an excellent, and helpful speech. Let's encourage the party's "leaders" to invite Michael.

You are right, Michael Reagan should be asked to speak at the convention. That would nullify Ron.
