Cobey and Barrett were the only two who promised to reduce regulations as a way to boost the economy. The others don't seem to get it.
From Fern's website:
"Retaining jobs is vitally important in North Carolina right now, as high taxation, regulation, and litigation are driving jobs and entrepreneurs to other states...."I have heard all the candidates in debate and Shubert, Cobey, Ballantine and Barrett all discuss the need to become more "business friendly" through reduced regulation.
The real difference is action, though. Take a good look at Ballantine's voting record and see if he has really done anything to reduce regulations that strangle business.
Fern's record is solid. She gets it, and is probably the only one who can prove that she does.
