The website now has the guys phone number entertaining serious offers for the domain name.
I hope he gets $30,000 for it. He'll need that when his son goes through psychotherapy because his old man has the same name as a pathetic losing presidential ticket! And the kid can't live down all the taunts at school.
The Kerry and Edwards personal fortunes are worth how much and they call and want this guy to just "give" them the domain name? Cheapskates! Make Terezah buy it!

I read somewhere were the guy supports Bush, so he said he wasn't about to give it to the Kerry campaign.
More power to him. If he can make a buck for his kid's education, go for it.

Of course, he could have tried a marketing angle such as:
"Official Bail Bondsman of the Democrat National Committee".
If he'd been promised all the DNC's cases, it could have turned out to be more lucrative than just selling it.

Somewhere out there is probably some kid named 'Dole Kemp' who is probably on lithium.

I recall hearing in 1980 that a couple with the last name of Bush named their newborn daughter Reagan. Now
there's a name to be proud of. >:)

I wouldn't envy any girl with the last name "Bush". Too many Whoopi Goldbergs out there.
BTW, part of my job is to process customer orders and I say one last year under the name "Anita Bush". I'm hoping that was a prank name...

I hear that "Mondale-Ferraro.com" is available.

One of the first calls was from the Kerry campaign, asking Edwards to donate the domain name to the campaign. But the 34-year-old Indianapolis man said he won't be giving it away because he's gotten some offers of up to $30,000 for the name.
Typical. Don't even make an offer, just ask him to give it to you.

...registered to a "Mark Rendina" of Durham, NCWho purchased that domain name and others similar so that the Bush campaign couldn't use them. Methinks Rendina's name should be Richard Head.

I hear that "Mondale-Ferraro.com" is available. You raise, albeit obliquely, a good point: the value of the kerryedwards.com domain name is likely to be short-lived. I hope Mr. Kerry Edwards cashes in quickly; I doubt the name will ever be worth more than it's worth right now.
