There are things for both sides to like in this, but I think Bush is doing the best. First, this is a state he did not take in 2000, so winning it is a 42 vote swing. Secondly, there is so little enthusiasm for Kerry, even now. The Democrats keep saying he'll be introduced in the convention, but I don't think people watch those things, especially in July. And this one will be owned by the Kennedys. I believe, during war, with an upswinging economy, people have to have a positive reason to change the incumbent and I don't see how Kerry is giving it to them.
