Smoke Thickens
Smoke from the wildfires in the area continue to cause respiratory problems. As the fires move closer to settlements, evacuation plans are being readied for execution. So far Fox, Haystack, and Chatinika have been notified.
Update
Haystack is currently being evacuated. Chena Hot Springs Rd. from mile 50 north have been cautioned and the Hill top area have been advised to evacuate now.The Steese Hwy north of the Fox weigh station is closed.
