A Catholic lawyer has filed heresy charges against Sen. John Kerry with the Archdiocese of Boston, accusing the Democratic presidential candidate of bringing "most serious scandal to the American public" by receiving Holy Communion as a pro-choice Catholic.
The 18-page document was sent to the archdiocese June 14, but released to the public only yesterday by Marc Balestrieri, a Los Angeles-based canon lawyer and an assistant judge with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles' tribunal, an ecclesiastical court.

Truth eventually wins in the end. Kerry is a dork and, on a moral level, he is a barbarian. This is funny. Let's see how the bishops handle this.
I can't get to the site either. Does seem curious, though, that he's associated with Mahony's archdiocese. (Was associated?)
True, but I can't help going "Hee-hee!".
They can all laugh about it...in Hell.
That's OK. Lay people had to defend the church and Christian civilization from the Vikings, the Danes, the Moslems, and the Mongol horde. Some things never change. This guy gets a Charles Martel Award.
I understood one can take communion at another Christian chuch but that it does not fulfill ones Sunday obligation. In other words he still has to take communion at his own church for it to be "legal" Thsi is not blasphemey as I understand it.

BTTT!
They already are alienated from the Church. Acceptance of abortion is the profession of heresy. Its not just some mere sin, but a renunciation of part of the Faith handed down from the Apostles.
Heretics are automatically excommunicated. We want the Church to formally denounce those who publicly hold these views (i.e. pro-abortion "Catholic" politicians) by name with a formal declaration of excommunication so that the position is spelled out in black and white. You cannot be a Catholic a pro-abortion politician - you must choose abortion or Catholicism.
You understand it incorrectly. The AME church neither professes nor possess the Real Presence in the Eucharist. A Catholic who partakes in a communion ceremony in a Protestant Church is expressing publicly an indifference to the nature of the sacraments available in the Catholic Church. To partake is to give the wrong impression that it matters not if you attend a Catholic or a Protestant church.
SD
To take communion at a Protestant Church is to commit and act of blasphemy and schism and to leave one suspect of heresy. Blasphemy because there is no Mass or Real Presence among the Protestants, schism because it is an act of union with those who are willfully seperated from the unity of the Catholic Church, suspect of heresy because you have joined in communion with those who reject the Catholic Faith. Catholics are absolutely forbidden from approaching Protestant ministers for their pretend sacraments.

MEDIA SUING TO OPEN KERRY'S SEALED DIVORCE PAPERS
More Bias and spin in the many newspaper articles to protect the liberal democrat. Kerry provided NO evidence of an annulment and he was married to Heinz, his second wife worth Billions, in the back yard of a home on Martha's Vineyard which is not ordinarily allowed for Catholics and there is also NO evidence of any RC priest who married them.
I wish the reporters would question him for the truth. Dream on.

Catholics Against Kerry
1400 Ecclesial communities derived from the Reformation and separated from the Catholic Church, "have not preserved the proper reality of the Eucharistic mystery in its fullness, especially because of the absence of the sacrament of Holy Orders."236 It is for this reason that Eucharistic intercommunion with these communities is not possible for the Catholic Church. However these ecclesial communities, "when they commemorate the Lord's death and resurrection in the Holy Supper . . . profess that it signifies life in communion with Christ and await his coming in glory."237
Can. 844 §1. Catholic ministers administer the sacraments licitly to Catholic members of the Christian faithful alone, who likewise receive them licitly from Catholic ministers alone, without prejudice to the prescripts of §§2, 3, and 4 of this canon, and ⇒ can. 861, §2.
Sin to vote for pro-abortion politicians?

Kerry Will Hold Pro-Abortion Rally Prior to Sunday's Abortion March
Technically, Kerry already merits de facto excommuncation for facilitating abortion and for sacrilege. While we're doing Kerry's rap sheet, did he ever get an annulment for his first marriage?
