Hillary Clinton "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good"
SF Gate ^

Posted on 06/29/2004 10:41:20 PM PDT by Dragonspirit

The leftiest big city on the Left Coast was Clinton country on Monday, with former President Clinton continuing his blockbuster book tour and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton headlining a Democratic fund-raiser where she vowed to defeat the Republicans' "extraordinarily ruthless machine."

Headlining an appearance with other Democratic women senators on behalf of Sen. Barbara Boxer, who is up for re-election this year, Hillary Clinton told several hundred supporters -- some of whom had ponied up as much as $10,000 to attend -- to expect to lose some of the tax cuts passed by President Bush if Democrats win the White House and control of Congress.

"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you," Sen. Clinton said. "We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

There are two important lines from this for you conservatives that are not so hot on Bush to keep in mind when you vote.

1. "if Democrats win the White House and control of Congress."

and

2. "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

Food for thought come November.

"Many of you are well enough off that

Typical liberal belief. THEY and only THEY know when WE are well enough off. How about if WE tell THEM that THEY are much more well off then US and then tell THEM to get back on THEIR jackass and ride off into the sunset.

This is a recurring theme of the clintons.

Back in 98 0r 99 her husband gave a speech in Buffalo NY in which he said in regard to the tax surplus that "they could return the money to the people but he couldn't trust us to use it wisely so the government was going to use on our behalf...

....And no-one in the press called him on it...

This is a different report of the event also reported by AP in the first below thread, whereas Kristinn had zeroed in on the "take things away from you" quote in the second below thread.

I'm just pointing out related threads. (No criticism for the posting is intended as you've posted what appears to be a different story, albeit with some portions incorporated from the AP story.)

San Francisco rolls out red carpet for the Clintons

SAN FRANCISCO — The heavily Democratic San Francisco Bay area welcomed two of its political darlings Monday, with former President Clinton continuing his blockbuster book tour and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton headlining a campaign fund-raiser.

Joining other Democratic women senators at an event for Sen. Barbara Boxer, who's seeking re-election, Hillary Clinton told hundreds of party faithful to expect to lose some of the tax cuts passed under President Bush if Democrats take control in Washington next year.

"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you," Sen. Clinton said. "We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

Blocks away at San Francisco's historic Ferry Building, President Clinton promoted his best-selling "My Life," signing books for at least 3,000 people.

Hillary Clinton: "We're Going to Take Things Away From You on Behalf of the Common Good"

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-Cuba), speaking at a Democratic party fundraiser in San Francisco yesterday, was remarkably frank about the Democrats' intentions to use socialist redistribution policies if the party gains power after the November elections.

As reported by the Associated Press, Sen. Clinton said, "Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

With her blunt statement, Sen. Clinton has drawn clear the difference between the two major parties: The Marxist Democratic party will "take things away from you on behalf of the common good" while the Republicans will defend your right to spend your money as you see fit because they know it's your money, not the government's.

Remember this during the long slog to the elections this year. The choice is clear: Marxism or freedom. Vote wisely.

"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

At least the Witch of Chappaqua is honest about it (amongst her evil friends, anyway). GWB has given the federal government a 30% raise since taking office with zero vetoes.

Yep.

Like your money.

Your right to own and possess a firearm.

Your right to acknowledge God and worship according to the dictates of your own conscience.

What is left of your right to raise and instruct your children as to what is right and wrong.

Your right to own property.

Your right to defend your life and the lives of your family members.

Your right to say that it is not natural for men to lie with and have sex with boys and animals as with women.

Your right to say that it is not natural for women to lie with and have sex with women and animals as with men.

Your right to say that adult men should not have sex with female children.

Adult men should not have sex with male children.

Adult females should not have sex with female children.

Adult females should not have sex with male children.

Only degenerate perverts and freeloaders will enjoy the next democrat administration.

To a decent individual , the next democrat administration will not be any fun at all.

Women in politics are similar to mining.

When you see women like Laura Bush and Condoleeza Rice, you know you have discovered solid gold.

When you see Hillary Rotten Clinton, aka the Hildabeast, you know that you sometimes only find a common ore.

Re-living her Marxist college days, I see. The things she wants to "take away" are not limited to money. The fact that this kind of thinking exists in our U.S. Senate AT ALL (and probably half of them, at that) is horrifying.
