Yahoo had a section of pictures of the First Lady - and while I take breath, I thought you'd like to see these pictures of our precious First Lady.

First lady Laura Bush became a camera's best friend when she greeted Republicans following a speech at the RiverCentre in St. Paul, Minn., on Friday, June 18, 2004. Her visit to the city was part of a three-state tour to campaign for her husband's re-election.

Laura is positively radiant. Those workouts she now does with her personal trainer are transforming her body and it is begining to show in the fit of her clothes. Selecting the wardrobe for each of these trips must be a tremendous task. Its fun watching her style expand and adapt with the demands of her schedule. Her shoes are still practical and flattering to her legs but they are becoming more fashionable.

The neckline of that white suit frames her face beautifully and is very photogentic. She looks great in the dark green (?) (or black ?) evening suit. The side walking split in that one suit is both attractive and practical but the pleat or peplum detail on the jacket back seems a little problematic. She sparkles in the turquoise gown, that color looks fabulous on her. I like the high neck and long sleeves in lace but I wish she had chosen a different neckline for the underlayer. A strapless would have been a knockout. She and the President were dazzling and so glamourous looking at that formal dinner in Turkey .
