The more the left moans and screeches, the more Bush makes 'em look like the power-mad kooks that they really are. More success for the "cowboy".
I absolutley love this response to questions about those in Europe that are critical of him: "As far as my own personal standing goes, my job is to do my job. I'm going to do it the way I think is necessary. I'm going to set a vision. I will lead, and we'll just let the chips fall where they may."
Is there a better display of leadership than how this man handles himself?
Way to go Mr. President!

I think the bitter differences of the war are overExcept among the terrorist-loving American left.

Miss Marple, this post by GLH31L, is another example of how our Stealth President accomplishes the impossible while be insulted by the lunatic lefties.

On the economic side, the United States and the EU signed an agreement Saturday to make the EU's planned satellite navigation system compatible with the existing U.S. Global Positioning System I'd say that is the most important statement in the report. I'd heard reports that the EU thought it could cripple the US's GPS usage by the military-which they thought could give the EU a sort of defacto veto over the US's use of its military!

I agree, Bush's responses were excellent. I especially liked this:
"I don't remember any international investigation of what took place in Iraq" under Saddam, Bush said.
This statement blew the Europeans' "veiled criticisms" of Abu-Ghraib right out of the water.
To: GLH3IL
But I thought that Bush was a unilateralist bully who has irrevocably alienated the entire world, and most importantly the Europeans, who in their godlike moral enlightenment are of course so much better than us!

The U.S.-EU joint statements were largely a victory for Bush!
The important part. :>)

It is a good diplomatic victory for the President, however, it all means diddly-squat in reality. The E.U. has no real foreign policy yet (thank goodness). The only venture the E.U. has made into foreign affairs as a body was the dismemberment of Yugoslavia, and we all know what a success that was...
The NATO summit is far more important, here it is real countries, with real leaders, debating real issues, and able to make real decisions.
