A friend of mine just returned from deployment in ROK. I asked him about the ROK Marines, and he said something about them being the only ones tough enough to eat that much kimchi.
He also thought the kimchi was the reason that SARS never got to Korea. :-)
yeah, kimchi is some strong stuff. too bad there's no mosques around Kunsan. i'd stock up on pork products from the chow hall here on base.....j/k....well, maybe only halfway kidding
i served with the ROK marines in 1977,
on deployment from okinawa with the marine EOD unit from henoko.

tell your freind,i could send either sea-weed or cabbage anytime.it must be refrigerated and sent overnight.
guaranteed we feed kimchi to the perps and cnn would have abuse charges all over the news line.
