They're missing out on a good sport...their loss! Maybe they wouldn't be so cranky & dysfunctional & murderous if they had ESPN, fantasy football and a few games of shirts and skins every once in a while. I have not heard this; if it were being done there would no reason not to make it public. In fact, there would be no reason to do it unless it were publicized – at least none that I can think of. Do you have a link that confirms this?

Actually there was a bloody uprising, that petered out right quick when the rumor that pig lard was used to grease the musket balls was spread by the british troops.

So the pig fat (or the rumor of pig fat) was used to quell the uprising rather than being the cause of the uprising? Funny how these legends are. They have a life of their own. Just a month or two ago an Indian grad student described this incident to me, but his was the "cause" version of the story.

Bishydroxycoumarin (Dicumarol) , warfarin (Coumadin) and heparin are all anticoagulants which could be useful if one was to use a water gun for this purpose.
