The reason that Irishman, (or whatever), felt "free" to express his opinion, was because of the expansion of freedom throughout the world. That has been our goal for decades.

Like it or not, America is the focus of attention throughout the world. For good or for bad, it's going to be another American century -- and I'm convinced it's for the good, and that history will be our witness.
Since you put it that way I'm not as angry. I guess he was displaying an American attitude. I'll be happy too when Iraq can stand on it's own feet.
