This is a great reminder for me to choose Home Depot over the other store near my house.

Now, if Home Depot would only stock table saws that don't suck.
Really though, I had to buy a gift certificate from either HD or bLowes. Looks like HD wins.

Cool. I'll be doing the shopping for all my home improvement needs there from now on.

Another example of one of those "bad" corporations and the way they put it to the rest of us. < /sarcasm>

Good for Home Depot! What bothers me is that the military is in need of donations.
My son's transportation company is using radios donated to them from "The Hobbit Hole" right here at Free Republic because their army issued ones didn't work.

Don't forget to thank them.
Their Web Page has a customer service pull-down at the top where you can send them an email.

I know that I am asking to be flamed by bringing up Wal-Mart but their most recent donation -(and there have been many) was 5,000 six hour phone cards. Sent mostly to our troops in hospitals in Germany and other places.
To: gilliam
Cool, that will save the military $10 mil in purchases.

Home Depot is great. Too bad so much of their hardware is made in China.
To: gilliam
Looks like some merchants are "getting the picture".

Lowes is a mile away, Home Depot 5 miles.
Now I have reason to shop only at HD, other than already thinking their service and selection is superior to Lowes.
To: gilliam
Interesting - The Lowes near my house gives a 10% discount to anyone holding a military ID (Thanks to my wife ODC-GIRL I get 10% off)

Normally I avoid Home Depot because of their non-service and self-checkout system.
However, this changes my mind.

I am remodelling my hose and have been for the past 6 months. This makes me proud to have chosen Home Depot for all of my home improvement needs.

Well, I don't do much fixing or building beyond puters, but next time I need some pipes for my rats I know where I'll be buying.

So what's the military going to do with all those twisty 2 x 4's?
To: gilliam
I buy most of my tools and supplies there. After this, they will get all my business. I am buying their stock too.
